Growing up in the 90's, 20 minutes outside of Cleveland, we were spoiled with great baseball at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. There was one player I wanted to be when growing up and idolizing and that was the big Jim Thome. This hat is to honor the night he broke the regular season home run record for the Cleveland Indians on September 27, 2002. What makes this date special it was the night before my birthday. The colors that were chosen for this hat was to honor the jersey they were wearing that night.
